B747-400; belonging to One Air left its crew with no lateral navigation near Amsterdam

One Air B744 near Amsterdam  two generators failed leaving no lateral navigation A One Air Boeing 747-400 freighter, registration G-ONEE performing flight HC-211 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Hong Kong (China), was climbing out of Heathrow's runway 09R when the crew stopped the climb at FL250, already over the North Sea reporting they had lost two of their four generators and requested radar vectors advising they had no lateral navigation left.  The aircraft initially turned back towards England, then turned again and diverted to Amsterdam (Netherlands) advising they didn't need any fuel dump, and landed safely on Amsterdam's runway 06 about 85 minutes after departure. After half an hour of visit to daddy, prince Harry heads back

Prince Harry to fly home after seeing King for half an hour The Duke of Sussex has arrived at Heathrow to fly home to California, just 24 hours after he arrived. Prince Harry, 39, flew 11 hours across the Atlantic to see his cancer-stricken father for just half an hour. The gesture is understood to have been warmly welcomed by the King. The Duke landed at Heathrow at lunchtime on Tuesday before being whisked straight to Clarence House with a police escort. He arrived at his father’s London residence just before 2.45pm and left at 3.31pm. The King and Queen followed just minutes later and were driven to Buckingham Palace before flying by helicopter to Sandringham. Prince Harry is thought to have stayed in a hotel overnight before dashing back home to his wife, Meghan, and their two children.

RAT sneaked out on Virgin Atlantic B789 in-flight

V irgin Atlantic B789 at London experiences RAM Air Turbine (RAT) extension A Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9, registration G-VZIG performing flight VS-105 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Seattle,WA (USA), was climbing out of London's runway 09R when the crew stopped the climb at about FL230 and decided to return to Heathrow.  The aircraft dumped fuel at FL230 and returned to Heathrow with the RAM Air Turbine extended and operating. The aircraft landed safely on runway 09L about one hour after departure. A replacement Boeing 787-9 registration G-VOOH reached Seattle with a delay of about 4.5 hours.
