A go-around for United Airlines due to some hydraulic problem while on final

United B764 at Newark faced some hydraulic problem A United Boeing 767-400, registration N78060 performing flight UA-963 from Berlin (Germany) to Newark,NJ (USA), was on approach to Newark when the crew reported a hydraulic problem.  The aircraft went around, positioned for another approach and landed safely on runway 04L. The FAA reported: "United Airlines Flight 963 landed safely at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey around 12:50 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 26, after the crew reported a possible hydraulic issue.  The Boeing 767 was traveling from Berlin, Germany. Flaps pricked American Airlines

American B738 at Boston had flaps problem An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N991AN performing flight AA-1442 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Boston,MA (USA), was on final approach to Boston's runway 04R when the crew initiated a go around due to problems with the flaps.  The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 04R and landed safely about 25 minutes after the go around. The FAA reported: "American Airlines Flight 1442 landed safely at Logan International Airport in Boston around 1:50 p.m. local time on March 15, after the crew reported a flap issue. The Boeing 737-800 was traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Boston. The FAA will investigate." Battery thermal runaway on Breeze Bombardier CS3 in-flight

Breeze BCS3 near Albuquerque had a battery thermal runaway A Breeze Airways Bombardier C-Series CS-300, registration N227BZ performing flight MX-555 from Los Angeles,CA to Pittsburgh,PA (USA) with 88 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 150nm northwest of Albuquerque,NM (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Albuquerque reporting a passenger's laptop had caught fire due to thermal runaway of its Lithium Ion Battery.  Cabin crew extinguished the fire and secured the laptop. The aircraft landed safely on Albuquerque's runway 08 about 25 minutes after leaving FL370.  The owner of the laptop was checked by paramedics at the airport and released. The aircraft remained on the ground in Albuquerque for about 23 hours, then continued the flight as MX-8555 and reached Pittsburgh with a delay of about 23.5 hours. Battling with birds; Alaska Airlines

Alaska B737 at Juneau faces bird strike  An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N644AS performing flight AS-61 from Seattle,WA to Juneau,AK (USA), was on approach to Juneau's runway 26 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing. The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule, the subsequent sectors to Yakutat,AK, Cordova,AK and Anchorage,AK were cancelled. The aircraft is still on the ground in Juneau about 22 hours after landing. United's B757-200 slat got damaged in-flight

United B752 near Denver had its slat damaged in-flight A United Boeing 757-200, registration N57111 performing flight UA-354 from San Francisco,CA to Boston,MA (USA) with 165 people on board, was enroute at FL310 about 100nm northwest of Denver,CO (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Denver after passengers observed slat damage to the right hand wing.  The aircraft landed safely on Denver's runway 16R about 25 minutes later. A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration N34137 reached Boston with a delay of about 3.5 hours. The FAA reported the aircraft diverted to Denver after the crew reported a possible flap issue.
