Delta's engine ran roughly near Syracuse

Delta A332 near Syracuse had its engine running rough  A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration N861NW performing flight DL-86 from Detroit,MI (USA) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany) with 95 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 20nm north of Syracuse,NY (USA) when the crew entered a hold at altitude due to a problem with one of the engines (PW4168A).  The crew subsequently decided to divert to Syracuse and declared emergency advising they were to perform an overweight landing, one of their engines was running rough.  The aircraft landed safely on Syracuse's runway 28 about 45 minutes after entering the hold. The crew advised the engines were not that much of a concern, however, the brakes were a concern. A replacement A330-200, registration N860NW, positioned to Syracuse, continued the flight and is estimated to reach Frankfurt with a delay of about 10 hours. Lufthansa A321-200 reports First Officer feeling unwell

Lufthansa A321 near Madrid reports first officer feeling unwell A Lufthansa Airbus A321-200, registration D-AISO performing flight LH-1140 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Seville (Spain), was enroute at FL350 about 40nm southwest of Madrid (Spain), when the crew requested to urgently divert to Madrid reporting the first officer was feeling unwell.  The aircraft turned around and landed safely on Madrid's runway 32L about 18 minutes later. The aircraft remained on the ground in Madrid for about 5.5 hours then continued the journey and reached Seville with a delay of about 5.5 hours . Bird strike; Lufthansa A343 at the mercy of birds

Lufthansa A343 at Boston bird strike A Lufthansa Airbus A340-300, registration D-AIGN performing flight LH-423 from Boston,MA (USA) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was climbing out of Boston's runway 04R when the crew stopped the climb reporting they had high vibrations on one of their engines (CFM56) as result of a bird strike.  The crew decided to return to Boston, dump fuel and landed safely back on Boston's runway 33L about 50 minutes after departure.  The flight was cancelled. The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 days before positioning back to Frankfurt. The aircraft is still on the ground in Frankfurt another day after landing in Frankfurt.
