Compressor stall on American Airlines

American A319 at Boston had an engine compressor stall   An American Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N762US performing flight AA-1146 from Boston,MA to Philadelphia,PA (USA), was climbing out of Boston's runway 22R when the crew requested to level off at 6000 feet reporting they had a compressor stall on one of their engines (CFM56) and there was a brief smell of smoke afterwards, hence they wanted to return to Boston.  The crew requested a long final while working 5 or 6 things they had to do. The aircraft landed safely back on runway 22L about 20 minutes after departure. Passengers reported they saw a streak of flames and some smoke, the captain subsequently announced it was a bird strike. A replacement Airbus A321-200N registration N467AL is estimated to reach Philadelphia with a delay of about 10 hours. American B777-200 over the Atlantic diverts to Boston

American B772 over Atlantic had a cracked windshield  An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N790AN performing flight AA-94 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL370 over the Atlantic Ocean about 300nm east of Boston,MA (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Boston reporting a cracked windshield.  The aircraft turned around, descended to FL250 and landed safely on Boston's runway 22L about 70 minutes after turning around. A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration N788AN is estimated to depart Boston the following day about 19 hours after landing. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Boston about 16.5 hours after landing. Massachusetts States Police reported the aircraft diverted due to a cracked windshield. United's B757-200 slat got damaged in-flight

United B752 near Denver had its slat damaged in-flight A United Boeing 757-200, registration N57111 performing flight UA-354 from San Francisco,CA to Boston,MA (USA) with 165 people on board, was enroute at FL310 about 100nm northwest of Denver,CO (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Denver after passengers observed slat damage to the right hand wing.  The aircraft landed safely on Denver's runway 16R about 25 minutes later. A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration N34137 reached Boston with a delay of about 3.5 hours. The FAA reported the aircraft diverted to Denver after the crew reported a possible flap issue. Bird strike; Lufthansa A343 at the mercy of birds

Lufthansa A343 at Boston bird strike A Lufthansa Airbus A340-300, registration D-AIGN performing flight LH-423 from Boston,MA (USA) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was climbing out of Boston's runway 04R when the crew stopped the climb reporting they had high vibrations on one of their engines (CFM56) as result of a bird strike.  The crew decided to return to Boston, dump fuel and landed safely back on Boston's runway 33L about 50 minutes after departure.  The flight was cancelled. The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 6 days before positioning back to Frankfurt. The aircraft is still on the ground in Frankfurt another day after landing in Frankfurt.
