Alaska B737 at Juneau faces bird strike  An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N644AS performing flight AS-61 from Seattle,WA to Juneau,AK (USA), was on approach to Juneau's runway 26 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing. The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule, the subsequent sectors to Yakutat,AK, Cordova,AK and Anchorage,AK were cancelled. The aircraft is still on the ground in Juneau about 22 hours after landing. Flybondi rejects takeoff due to bird strike

Flybondi B738 at Buenos Aires rejected takeoff due to bird strike A Flybondi Boeing 737-800, registration LV-KEF performing flight FO-5900 from Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina) to Rio de Janeiro,RJ (Brazil), was accelerating for takeoff from Ezeiza's runway 35 when the right hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird and emitted a serious of bangs and streaks of flames.  The crew rejected takeoff and returned to the apron. A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LV-KEH reached Rio with a delay of about 5 hours. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Buenos Aires. Argentina's JST reported they have opened an investigation into the occurrence that happened to LV-KEF on Feb 28th 2024 at about 12:45 UTC at Ezeiza Airport. Lightning strikes Breeze Airways

The aircraft continued for a safe landing. The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK BY LIGHTNING AND POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED DAMAGE TO VERTICAL STABILIZER, PITTSBURGH, PA." Delta's engine ran roughly near Syracuse

Delta A332 near Syracuse had its engine running rough  A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration N861NW performing flight DL-86 from Detroit,MI (USA) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany) with 95 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 20nm north of Syracuse,NY (USA) when the crew entered a hold at altitude due to a problem with one of the engines (PW4168A).  The crew subsequently decided to divert to Syracuse and declared emergency advising they were to perform an overweight landing, one of their engines was running rough.  The aircraft landed safely on Syracuse's runway 28 about 45 minutes after entering the hold. The crew advised the engines were not that much of a concern, however, the brakes were a concern. A replacement A330-200, registration N860NW, positioned to Syracuse, continued the flight and is estimated to reach Frankfurt with a delay of about 10 hours. Harry and Meghan are left unprotected in the UK: Final judgement is made

Prince Harry has lost a High Court challenge against the United Kingdom government over what level of security he should get whenever he is in the UK.   The case existed because the Duke of Sussex is trying to overturn a ruling which saw his security status downgraded, thanks to his decision to stop being a 'working royal'. His lawyers have argued that the decision was made in an unfair manner. The challenge was made by Harry back in December 2023 and Home Office lawyers told the High Court Prince Harry would still have publicly-funded police security, but these would be "bespoke arrangements, specifically tailored to him", rather than the automatic security provided for full-time working royals.Court rules against Prince Harry.   The majority of these legal proceedings were held in private during December, but the ruling has now been made publicly by High Court judge Sir Peter Lane. Prince Harry Loses Legal Fight for Police Protection in the U.K.

The Duke of Sussex had argued that he should have automatic protection for himself and his family whenever they visit the U.K. from their home in California after the U.K. authorities stripped away the right in February 2020, shortly after he and wife Meghan Markle stepped back from official royal duties.  In a statement in December, Harry said he "felt forced" to step back from his royal role and leave the U.K. in 2020, citing security concerns for his family: his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children, son Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.On Wednesday, however, High Court judge Peter Lane upheld the decision by the U.K. government and, specifically, the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) to downgrade his security. The court has found that there has not been any unlawfulness in reaching the decision of 28 February 2020," Lane ruled in documents seen by PEOPLE. "The decision was not irrational.
