A crop duster plane crashed under unknown circumstances near Villa Ana. The pilot was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital. The crop duster plane was destroyed. Local media report the aircraft was registered LV-GKH, however this aircraft is a Cirrus SR22.  https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/352144

Electrical failure aboard Gol Transportes Aereos

Gol B738 Max at Belem had an electrical failure  A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration PR-XMB performing flight G3-1833 from Belem,PA to Brasilia,DF (Brazil), was climbing through about FL180 out of Belem when the crew decided to return to Belem's runway 06 due to electrical problems.  The aircraft landed safely on Belem's runway 06 about 30 minutes after departure. Brazil's CENIPA reported: "During cruise phase the aircraft experienced an electrical failure in the generators. After carrying out the related procedures the aircraft returned to the aerodrome of origin."

American B777-200 over the Atlantic diverts to Boston

American B772 over Atlantic had a cracked windshield  An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N790AN performing flight AA-94 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL370 over the Atlantic Ocean about 300nm east of Boston,MA (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Boston reporting a cracked windshield.  The aircraft turned around, descended to FL250 and landed safely on Boston's runway 22L about 70 minutes after turning around. A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration N788AN is estimated to depart Boston the following day about 19 hours after landing. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Boston about 16.5 hours after landing. Massachusetts States Police reported the aircraft diverted due to a cracked windshield. Battling with birds; Alaska Airlines

Alaska B737 at Juneau faces bird strike  An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N644AS performing flight AS-61 from Seattle,WA to Juneau,AK (USA), was on approach to Juneau's runway 26 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing. The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule, the subsequent sectors to Yakutat,AK, Cordova,AK and Anchorage,AK were cancelled. The aircraft is still on the ground in Juneau about 22 hours after landing. Flybondi rejects takeoff due to bird strike

Flybondi B738 at Buenos Aires rejected takeoff due to bird strike A Flybondi Boeing 737-800, registration LV-KEF performing flight FO-5900 from Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina) to Rio de Janeiro,RJ (Brazil), was accelerating for takeoff from Ezeiza's runway 35 when the right hand engine (CFM56) ingested a bird and emitted a serious of bangs and streaks of flames.  The crew rejected takeoff and returned to the apron. A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LV-KEH reached Rio with a delay of about 5 hours. The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Buenos Aires. Argentina's JST reported they have opened an investigation into the occurrence that happened to LV-KEF on Feb 28th 2024 at about 12:45 UTC at Ezeiza Airport.
