Patrick Mahomes reacts to new contract with three words, while Brittany posts loving message




Patrick Mahomes has reacted to his new contract by praising God, as he signed a new four-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth 210.6 million dollars between 2023 and 2026. The two-time MVP and defending Super Bowl winner previously signed a blockbuster 450m dollar deal to 2030 and this has simply been restructured,


 meaning he'll earn more money over a four-year span than anyone else before. ahomes celebrated the contract and his 28th birthday on Sunday, doing so with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, 


as the pair shared a cookie cake after his game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. "Celebrating you is easy, yesterday was my guy's birthday and I hope it was the best and you enjoyed every second of me beating you in knock out," 

she wrote on Instagram. The Chiefs are back on track As he turned 28 years old, Mahomes got his NFL season back on track as the Chiefs defeated the Jaguars 17-9 in Florida. The game also featured another present for the quarterback, as star tight-end Travis Kelce returned from injury and contributed to their win.


 "I'll probably just hang out with the guys," Mahomes told CBS after the victory. "It'll be a nice flight home. Luckily, we're flying back with a win, and then we're getting right back at it.
