Prince Andrew has been allowed to stay in his Royal Lodge home indefinitely. The duke must carry out repairs on the property. King Charles reportedly wanted to evict the prince from the estate.

Prince Andrew has been allowed to stay in his Royal Lodge home indefinitely and do repairs on the property, according to The Telegraph. The Duke of York reached an agreement with King Charles,

his brother, regarding his Windsor property. King Charles had attempted to evict the duke from the 30-room mansion, according to The Daily Beast.

Prince Andrew was reportedly unwilling to vacate the lodge after the king requested him to. Initial reports that the king wanted the duke off the property surfaced early this year.

. The prince first moved into the lodge, previously the home of Queen Elizabeth, in 2003. The duke's annual allowance of £250 000 was reportedly cut by King Charles after the queen died.

It was also reported that the lodge was set to go to Prince William and Kate Middleton. It is believed that the two and their children were instead moved into Windsor Castle.

In 2019, Prince Andrew was forced to step down as a working member of the Royal family due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein.
