Bird Strike on Egypt Air's engine

Egypt B738 at Entebbe had a bird strike 




An Egypt Air Boeing 737-800, registration SU-GDZ performing flight MS-835 from Entebbe (Uganda) to Cairo (Egypt) with 116 people on board, was climbing out of Entebbe's runway 17 when a bird impacted one of the engines (CFM56) prompting the crew to divert to Kigali (Rwanda) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 28 about 35 minutes later.



The aircraft remained on the ground in Kigali until Mar 3rd, then flew directly to Cairo as flight MS-835. MS-835 route is Cairo-Kigali-Entebbe-Cairo.
