Flaps pricked American Airlines

American B738 at Boston had flaps problem



An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N991AN performing flight AA-1442 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Boston,MA (USA), was on final approach to Boston's runway 04R when the crew initiated a go around due to problems with the flaps. 



The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 04R and landed safely about 25 minutes after the go around.



The FAA reported: "American Airlines Flight 1442 landed safely at Logan International Airport in Boston around 1:50 p.m. local time on March 15, after the crew reported a flap issue. The Boeing 737-800 was traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Boston. The FAA will investigate."
