Harry and Meghan are left unprotected in the UK: Final judgement is made

Image
Prince Harry has lost a High Court challenge against the United Kingdom government over what level of security he should get whenever he is in the UK.   The case existed because the Duke of Sussex is trying to overturn a ruling which saw his security status downgraded, thanks to his decision to stop being a 'working royal'. His lawyers have argued that the decision was made in an unfair manner. The challenge was made by Harry back in December 2023 and Home Office lawyers told the High Court Prince Harry would still have publicly-funded police security, but these would be "bespoke arrangements, specifically tailored to him", rather than the automatic security provided for full-time working royals.Court rules against Prince Harry.   The majority of these legal proceedings were held in private during December, but the ruling has now been made publicly by High Court judge Sir Peter Lane. The court found that there had not been any unlawfulness in reaching the decision to

Prince Harry Loses Legal Fight for Police Protection in the U.K.

Image
The Duke of Sussex had argued that he should have automatic protection for himself and his family whenever they visit the U.K. from their home in California after the U.K. authorities stripped away the right in February 2020, shortly after he and wife Meghan Markle stepped back from official royal duties.  In a statement in December, Harry said he "felt forced" to step back from his royal role and leave the U.K. in 2020, citing security concerns for his family: his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children, son Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.On Wednesday, however, High Court judge Peter Lane upheld the decision by the U.K. government and, specifically, the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) to downgrade his security. The court has found that there has not been any unlawfulness in reaching the decision of 28 February 2020," Lane ruled in documents seen by PEOPLE. "The decision was not irrational.

Prince Harry wants Meghan and kids to return to UK for family reunion, but Meghan is reportedly hesitant.Amid ongoing speculation about the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship with the British Royal Family, new reports have emerged suggesting Prince Harry's desire for a familial reunion in the UK.  According to insider sources, Prince Harry is keen on having Meghan Markle and their children return to their former residence in the United Kingdom, thinking to bridge the gap. But, looks like Meghan Markle is not as ‘happy’ as him about the decision.  During his recent chat on Good Morning America, Prince Harry opened up about the significance of sticking together as a family, especially when times get tough. His words struck a chord, prompting widespread speculation about his readiness to head back to his roots to stand by his father,  King Charles, who is said to be facing health challenges. Sharing a glimpse into his future travels, Prince Harry mentioned, “I

Near miss in Johannesburg; Radar based Report

Lufthansa B748 nearly collided with a South African Airways Airbus A320 on the runway in Johannesburg According to media reports (including some aviation reports) a Lufthansa B748 nearly collided with a South African Airways Airbus A320 on the runway in Johannesburg.  The (known as highly inaccurate) replay-display by a certain radar website shows, that the B748 while accelerating for takeoff from Johannesburg's runway 03L had a South African Airways A320 cross the runway at the same time in short distance across the first taxiway ahead of the B748, the A320 made it across the runway before the B748 came to that point, the B748 continued takeoff.  So this is the "story" of a "near collision on the runway" according to such media. However, what really happened is this: The B748 was cleared to line up runway 03L and lined up. The crew disliked the view on their weather radar and decided not to continue with their takeoff.  They vacated the runway and returned to t

"Catherine is currently dipping her toes back into her routine,"  Schofield said, "navigating light communication, i.e. emails, approving scheduling and household duties. Having to navigate the hurricane that is Meghan Markle is not on her agenda."The Daily Mirror in the U.K.  recently reported that Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, reached out to her sister-in-law after Markle's husband, Prince Harry, traveled across the pond to visit his father, King Charles III, after the new monarch was recently diagnose
